Rockwood College Fair comes to Lafayette

Lafayette High School will be hosting a college fair on Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Due to an assortment of 4- year universities, 2-year colleges, and technical colleges, there is an wide array of schools for everyone to look at.
College counselor Cheryl Egan says it’s important for students to look at their options.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to explore the options they have and to actually meet college representatives,” Egan said.
The college fair can provide general information for interested students and answer particular questions for applying students.
“We have both public universities and private colleges. We also have a few technical colleges such as Reinken, and the Academy of Beauty Arts. There will be something for everyone,” Egan said.
College representatives will be available to talk with students and answer questions students may have regarding their future schooling.
“If students have specific questions, they can have them answered. It’s always nice to have someone on the other end of the process who knows you and can advocate for you or can just answer any questions you may have,” Egan said.
