Amendment 3 to continue tenure, evaluate teachers based on standardized tests fails

On November 4th, people rushed to the polls to vote on numerous ballots presented.
In Missouri, Amendment 3 was on the ballot; an amendment that would determine whether teacher tenure would continue, and if teachers should be evaluated based on standardized tests taken by students.
76 percent voted no on Amendment 3, and 24 percent voted yes.
Of the 76 percent that voted no, there were 1,097,807 votes. 338,216 of the votes voted yes.
