After beating the Lindbergh Flyers last week, the hard-working boys basketball team has compiled a 4-6 record this year. Their opponents, the Eureka Wildcats (8-3), will battle them tonight at 7 p.m. on the Lancers home court.
Junior Nate Messer is the Lancers leading scorer, and he hopes to guide the Lancers to a second straight win. In order to win, they must get Messer open shots and have him go off tonight.
The Lancers are going to have to hit the glass hard and box out effectively. They need to keep the Wildcats senior Tyler Jordan in check tonight, who is their most versatile weapon. Along with Jordan, Lafayette must keep senior Gino Green off the glass.
This game is crucial for determining the top force in the Suburban West Conference.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
