Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”

Deadline for yearbook orders approaching

Deadline+for+yearbook+orders+approaching

For students wanting to order a 2012 Legend Yearbook, the deadline is March 9 to turn in order forms and it is encouraged that they be ordered before then rather than after to be guaranteed a copy.

Each yearbook costs $70, but students can order special engravings for an extra $5. Those looking to order multiple yearbooks will be given a $5 discount on additional copies. Along with the book itself, the Legend also includes a DVD with over 30 feature stories from throughout the school year.

“This yearbook is bigger and has jumped up quite a bit with more pages and more students covered than previous years. There is also a new and special section called the mini-mag that looks at students outside of school,” journalism teacher Nancy Smith said.

Smith added that there are typically around 50 extra copies for students that order after the March 9 deadline, but the price does increase for late orders.

Additional order forms for the 2012 Legend can be found in the Journalism Room, 137A.
