Due to inclement weather, this year’s graduation ceremony has been reschedculed for Friday, May 27 in the Chaifetz Arena. More details will be sent via AlertNow messages to students and their parents.
“Each graduate will received 10 tickets to give to friends and family,” Assistant Principal Tim Jones said.
Coach Marty Margalski, who will retire at the end of the year said he has gone to nearly every graduation since he has been at Lafayette.
“My favorite part is letting these kids know what’s out there; what they can accomplish. Every year, someone lets kids know what they can do from here.”
He continued, “There are usually 3 or 4 of those speeches, but I hear one and I say, ‘I like that one.'”
