Lancer basketball program celebrates annual senior night

On Feb. 11, the senior Lady Lancers Kayla Carpenter, Maddie Chester, Fiona Lazzaretti and Sarah Schoenfelder were recognized on their senior night along with seniors Ryan Campbell, KD Diaby, Max Fruscella, Mason Hewlett, Jake Nelson and Dylan Stovall on the varsity boys basketball team. Seniors from the varsity cheer squad and the Varsity Escadrille team were individually honored as well.
The girls team won their game against Parkway South, with a final score of 54-46; however, the boys team lost their match against Webster Groves by a score of 51-41. The Lady Lancers’ next basketball game is Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Lindbergh and is one of three more regular-season games for the team. For the boys team, their next game is at home on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m against Confluence Academy.
