Golf season comes to a close

The varsity boys golf team ended its season during Sectional play over the weekend of May 7. They sent three golfers to Sectionals:  seniors Max Charpentier, Conner Katsev and Mitch Porter. All three fell short and failed to advance to the State level, bringing the season to an end.

The golf team was pleased overall with the way the season went.

“When you have three golfers go that deep into the post season, you can’t really complain. I was happy with how it went,” Katsev said.  Katsev finished with the best score of the Lancers, missing the cut by only five strokes.

“I was happy that I could make it that far and play that well on a tougher course,” Katsev said.
