The Lady Lancers defeated Harvard-Westlake (Hollywood, CA), Oak Park (Chicago, IL), Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX), and local private school Nerinx Hall to earn the title.
Against Nerinx Hall in the final game of the tournament, the score had been tied 0-0 with two minutes remaining in the game before junior Kate Barber secured the win with a game winning goal.
The event also gave the team a chance to foreshadow their future success this season.

The team now improves to 5-1 on the season after a recent shutout win against Clayton on Tuesday.
