Senior pitcher Drue Bravo has recently been selected to participate in the Smiles League High School Baseball All-Star Game which will be played on June 12 at Busch Stadium.
Being the first year this event will be held, the game will consist of the St. Louis area’s best public school talent.
“It feels great because it shows that working hard throughout the season has paid off and that I’m one of the best,” Bravo said.
As the team begins District play on May 16 against Washington, Bravo leads the team in strikeouts with 26 in 38 innings pitched. He is also 6-1 with a 2.76 ERA.
Bravo has signed to play at Lewis and Clark Community College next year.
