The girls golf team has two State qualifiers this year. Senior Kelly Lamarche and sophomore Ashton Goldammer both qualified at Sectionals on Oct. 5 and will represent Lafayette at State on Oct. 18.
Lamarche shot a +9, good for fifth place overall at Sectionals. Goldammer shot a +16, which put her at 11th overall.
Lamarche and Goldammer are two of only a handful of public school golfers to qualify in yet another tournament dominated by private schools, including Nerinx Hall and Ursuline who combined sent 10 to State.
