The girls varsity volleyball team advanced their record to 16-8 this season after defeating Fox High School on Oct. 7. They took down at the Warriors with ease taking the best of 5, 3-0.
The first two games were never in doubt as the Lady Lancers took game one 25-12 and game two 25-14. Fox put up a strong showing in game three having the game neck and neck until junior Marilyn Dick put them up for good. They took game three by a final of 25-17.
The team has three games left before Districts. They look to head into Districts with wins against Conference foes, Marquette on Oct. 12, Parkway South on Oct. 13 and Eureka on Oct. 19.
Not only are these games big Conference match-ups for them, but they are also important due to the fact that they are the last regular season games for the seniors.
The last game of the season against Eureka is Senior Night on Oct. 19.
