Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Lancers lost a close State Quarterfinal game against Cor Jesu. Losing 11-10, their season came to an end on May 23.

Girls Soccer

With their win against Liberty, the Lady Lancers will move on to the State Final Four for the first time in 17 years. The Lancers won their game 3-2, however, they were close to losing it. In the first half, the Lady Lancers went up by two goals to nil, courtesy of goal-leading attacker, junior Allie Kinner. Despite the efforts of the 17-goal-scoring-striker, the Lady Lancers allowed Liberty to tie the game up 2-2 in the second half. But corner assisted by Kinner allowed junior centreback junior Hadley Hendrickson to score the winning goal. Using her head and tall frame, she lept over her defenders and headed the ball in. With their victory, they will face Nerinx Hall in the State Semifinals, June 2. Taking place at 4 p.m. at Soccer Park, the Lancers look to replicate their earlier result against Nerinx Hall, as they beat them 1-0 earlier in the season.

Boys Track and Field

The Lancers did not place at State, however, they had three events that got All-State status. This includes the Discus, 4×400-relay and the 4×800-relay.

Girls Track and Field

The Lady Lancers placed third at State, with two individual state champion events. First, the 4×800-meter relay team comprising of seniors Grace Tyson and Elissa Barnard, junior Natalie Barnard and sophomore Avery Brown brought back the gold. Lastly, Natalie also won the 3200-meter, setting a new State meet record. Additionally, Tyson placed second in two events: the 3200-meter and the 1600-meter. There were three other All-State finishes in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 3200-meter.

Boys Volleyball

The Lancers placed second in the State Championship. On the road to the final, they beat Vianney 3-2 in the semifinals. However, in the finals, they were swept by Reigning State Champions SLUH, 3-0.
