At the 2023 Prom, Class of 2023 graduates Joe Marlo and Will Barry stay at the edge of the main floor to do their dancing. Because the small dance floor was the most crowded area, many students gathered around the edges with friends or in small groups.

Spring signing day brings good news for 20 Lancers

The following Lafayette student athletes signed letters of intent on May 19, for the spring signing period. They will begin collegiate play this fall.

Brandon Bodker- Elmhurst College- Football

Sam Collier- Truman State University- Swimming

Ryan Dubberke- Lewis and Clark Community College- Baseball
“It’s pretty exciting. It’s a event and a day to celebrate,” Dubberke said

Matt Fercho- Missouri Valley- Basketball
“It makes me grow as a person and gives me responsibility and discipline,” Fercho said.

Taylor Foye- Mercyhurst College- Water Polo

Mariah Furman- Central Methodist University- Softball

Rachel Gilman- William Jewell- Volleyball

Emily Glaser- Westminster College- Tennis

Timmy Kenny- University Missouri-Rolla- Soccer

Adam King-Truman State University-Tennis
“It means a lot. Reaching that goal is a great feeling,” King said.

J.T. Miller- Wabash College- Baseball/Football
“It’s what I’ve always dreamt of. To continue beyond high school is a real blessing,” Miller said.

“It means a lot. I’ve waited four years and it feels good to finally get it,” Staiback said.
