Lancers take on Mustangs under the lights for Homecoming
Game brings Lafayette community together despite loss

Homecoming week took place Sept. 27-Oct. 2, including events such as the Homecoming Dance, Pep Assembly and football game. The game took place on Oct. 1, with the Lancers taking on the Marquette Mustangs. Lafayette lost the game with a final score of 26-6.
After the whistle blows, players rush toward each other at the line of scrimmage. On Oct. 1, Lafayette fell to Marquette, 25-6 at the Lafayette Homecoming Game. "We didn't get the job done. It wasn't for lack of effort, or being prepared, we just lost. It happens. I wouldn't want to have played that game with anyone else," senior lineman Tommy Hagan said.
