On Nov. 14, various groups performed in the annual Acoustic Variety Show, which took place in the LHS Theater. Students also performed solo pieces and original songs.

The show kicked off with Tuesday Night Rock Band performing “Summertime” by The Sundays. The song was performed by seniors Blake Jaycox, Aidan McCoy and Greg Umstead and juniors Mary Kirtley, Rylee Stoffel and James Zeck.
Following the opening performance, The Cherry Blossoms sang “All My Love” by Coldplay. The song was performed by seniors Giorgia Giovannini, Sovann Theoun, Lydia Werk and junior Ella Nolan.
Following The Cherry Blossoms, senior Cass Prinzivalli took the stage performing her original song, “Pirate Treasure.”
After Prinzivalli’s song, Jaycox returned to the stage to perform an original piece, “Morning Sun.”
Following Jaycox’s solo, Wednesday Jam Band sang “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish.
Next up, the Funeral Potatoes, consisting of juniors Hailee Roberts and Nate Roberts, along with sophomore Zoe Olsen and freshman Finley Carn performed “Let Her Go” by Passenger.
After their performance, senior Kalie McLaughlin, who has produced over 200 original pieces, performed one of her songs, “Coffee Dates.”
After McLaughlin’s piece, Monday Jam Band came out and performed “Can’t Stop” by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Following the performance, senior Annie Jones and McCoy perform a duet to “Rises the Moon” by Liana Flores.
Next up, Theoun performed a solo to “Just The Two of Us” by Bill Withers and Grover Washington Jr., a song he’s liked since sophomore year.
After Theoun’s song, AcLab Country goes on stage to perform “Love Story” by Taylor Swift.
Nolan and junior Hannah Holder perform a duet, singing “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams.
Next up, Mini Vox, an acappella group, sings “When October Goes” by Barry Manilow.
After Mini Vox’s performance, Principal Karen Calcaterra sings “Linger” by The Cranberries with her group, the Dr. C(ranberries).
Next up, Mary and sophomore Annie Kirtley perform the duet “Glue Song” by beabadobee in their group called AM (rip p). The song was a dedication to their older sister who graduated LHS.
After their duet, the group Habanaga Hawaiian Rolls performs an original piece titles “Quart.” The song was performed by senior Reece Parker, Zeck, sophomore Matthew Swain and freshman Angus Ramsey.
Gearing towards the end of the show, Tuesday Night Rock Band performs “The Only Exception” by Paramore.
Closing out the show with their last planned song, Tuesday Night Rock Band performs “Starman” by David Bowie.
After some persuasion from the crowd, the band decides to play one more song to officially end the show. The band performed “Float On” by Modest Mouse.
