Senior pictures to be taken at school for free
June 25, 2014
It’s time for senior pictures and the confusion of what to do can be assuaged because all pictures will be taken at school.
All students are required to get their photograph taken as a sort of student identification.
Students do not need to schedule a studio appointment because pictures will be taken at school in the 180 Flex Room.
There is no fee for students to get their pictures taken, but there will be if parents decide to order any pictures. Parents will receive an email about two weeks after the pictures are taken to let them know when they are able to order pictures.
Students can get pictures taken on July 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Aug. 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Session times are determined by last name: Last names that begin with A thru F get pictures taken at 4 p.m., G thru L get pictures taken at 5 p.m., M thru R get pictures taken at 6 p.m. and S thru Z get pictures taken at 7 p.m.
To encourage students to get their photos taken early, all students who attend on July 24 will be entered in a raffle, and four students will win a free semester of parking.
There is a dress code for senior pictures: ladies cannot wear anything sleeveless, strapless or low-cut and it is preffered gentlemen wear a shirt and tie but a collared shirt is acceptable; t-shirts, hats and sunglasses are not permitted and clothing cannot have any writing or logos.
There is no need to sign up for senior portraits at the current time because Inter-State Studios will be mailing more information in July.
