The National Scholastic Press Association hosted the “High School Journalism Convention” to recognize the talent of high school journalists throughout the country.
The convention was held through November 15-18 and took place in San Antonio.
The Image entered the “Inside Islam,” the October issue in the newspaper tabloid category.
The issue was awarded with 9th place out of all newspapers entered.
Editor in chief Grace Bueckendorf said, “I think we’ve all worked really hard, we’ve had a great staff. It’s great to see our hard work in a tangible way.”
