As students rush around wondering if there will be an early release today, Jan. 31 and the hope of two consecutive snow days on Tuesday and Wednesday, some students and parents worry about the driving conditions.
Junior Rachel Pace said, “My car is like magnet. The possibility of getting hit especially with other teenage drivers is very high.”
Junior Conor Wolk worries about getting to work later on. “It’s not going to be the ice getting to work. It’s going to be the ice in my neighborhood.”
During lunch, the grade-level secretaries wrote passes for students whose parents had called for their children to be released early.
