Out and About: Pizzarelli’s offers good, local pizza
March 7, 2014
Located near Chipotle and Einstein Bros., 15858 Manchester Rd. is the home of Pizzarelli’s, a classic, old-fashioned pizza joint that makes freshly made, great tasting pizza.
Pizzarelli’s offers deep dish, Chicago and New York style pizzas, as well as other entrees, such as calzones and pasta. I prefer the pizza, but also love the toasted ravioli. The pizza costs roughly the same as of somewhere such as Papa John’s or Domino’s, if not a little more expensive than there, but you pay for the experience. It’s a nice place where you can stop sit down, and grab a quick slice or stick around and have a full meal.
On the downside, each slice of pizza is normally a little over greasy, and Pizzarelli’s takes a little bit longer than other places to prepare and cook the food. On top of that, their delivery is not always the fastest, and I usually end up going and picking up the food myself in the interest of time. In the end though, you get an overall good and delicious pizza, great pasta and a fun little pizza joint where you can sit down, relax and eat.

[Families] actually having the opportunity to have their kids on the field with us is the most important aspect,” Ben Lundt said.](https://lancerfeed.press/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG_6823-1200x800.jpg)
