August 25, 2014
Wednesday, July 30th marked the grand opening of Lucky’s Market in Ellisville.
Aside from having local, organic food and produce, Lucky’s Market also includes a bakery, deli, café and juice bar.
“We seek the freshest local, organic, sustainable and traditionally crafted foods made with purpose and pride to sell in our stores,” said Brooke Buchanan, Marketing and Event coordinator for Lucky’s Market.
Buchanan also said Lucky’s Market also passionately supports local farmers and organic foods.
“We’re also very dedicated to making a positive impact on the community,” Buchanan said.
Lucky’s Market Giving Program supports vendors and their communities, as well as local organizations that address vital local needs through volunteering, donations and their own foundation.
“We regularly hold 5% Days in the store, where 5% of the entire day’s sales benefit a local non-profit organization,” Buchanan said.
Another program offered year-round is Bags for Change. Whenever a customer uses a reusable bag at checkout, 10 cents is donated to a local non-profit organization.
“We’re very passionate about providing good food for all,” said Buchanan.
Lucky’s Market is located at 15830 Fountain Plaza Drive, Ellisville, MO 63017. Their hours are 7:00am-10:00pm seven days a week.
