Lafayette promotes mental health awareness through many resources

According to the CDC nearly 10% of all children between the ages of 6-17 have been diagnosed with either anxiety or depression. With statistics like these, it is hard to ignore the mental health issues facing schools. Lafayette promotes mental health awareness and support through their counselors, teachers, social worker and other support systems. Along with caring teachers and staff, Lafayette also has many resources outside of school to help students. One of those resources is Hazel Health, a short-term telehealth therapy program.
