As school safety has become a growing concern, Rockwood has worked to address potential issues as best as possible. Rockwood schools have now adopted a new sign-in system, SchoolPass, that checks and logs all visitors that come into the school along with signs on all exterior doors to tell people to not prop them open. The district also partners with local law enforcement and first responders to ensure the best outcome in the event of an intruder situation. Students, however, have differing opinions on the level of safety provided in schools.
