After more than a year of COVD, Lafayette can’t find enough substitute teachers to fill teacher absences, as substitutes as more hesitant to return to a classroom. Lafayette relies on one full-time substitute, Dale Walker, to fill in for teachers. Even with Dale Walker, Lafayette is still struggling to find substitutes to help stand-in when a teacher can’t be in the building.
