Yearbook club photos to be taken April 15, virtual students will take online screenshots
April 12, 2021
Though the format will be a bit different this year, the 2021 Legend staff has scheduled Club Picture Day this week. The staff has created a procedure that will keep students safe while allowing club members who are both in-person and virtual to be included in the yearbook.
Club photos will be taken on Thursday, April 15 in the Main Gym for in-person students, while virtual students will have a Zoom screenshot taken. About four clubs will have their pictures taken every 15-20 minutes. April 15 is a C Day.
Club sponsors were given special passes to hand out to current club members. Students should leave their classes about five minutes before their scheduled picture time and wait in the Commons to be admitted into the Gym. Yearbook staff members will then assemble the clubs in rows on the bleachers for the photos and collect the passes after the photo is taken so that they can identify all the students in the photo.
Only students who have a signed pass from the club sponsor will be allowed in the photos. Any student who has not received a pass or who loses their pass must see their sponsor. The yearbook staff will not have any extra passes available.
There will be an announcement at the beginning of each class hour reminding students of the schedule for that class period.
This is a copy of the 2021 Schedule for the day.
Students must keep their masks on until right before the picture is taken but while the photo is taken they may remove them. After the photos, students are to put their masks back on and return to class.
For online students, club sponsors will be sending a Zoom link and instructions for an online screenshot.
