With two special openings in the musical cast, paws made their way on stage on Friday, Jan. 4. The special audition was held to select two dogs to fill roles in this year’s spring musical, Legally Blonde.

When senior Emma Volmert heard about the opportunity, she knew she had to bring her dog Kiya.

“If you know me, you know my dog. That’s just how I am,” Volmert said.

The two selected dogs will make their debut on opening night Thursday, Feb. 7.
