Lancers are mourning the loss of senior Brianna Reid who passed away by suicide on Aug. 2. 

Reid was a member of the Class of 2020, and she was a member of both the Lafayette field hockey and track and field teams.

A memorial service will be held on Aug. 6 at Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Union, Missouri. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and service will begin at noon.

The Lafayette building will be open tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. and counselors, administrators, teachers and staff will available in the library for any students who need some support or just want to gather together.
