Girls track team hosts Conference Meet

On May 3, the girls track team hosted the Suburban Yellow Conference Meet. The Lady Lancers placed second in the final meet of the regular season, finishing just 11 points behind Eureka. The girls track team will kick off the postseason on May 11 at Eureka where the Lady Lancers will compete in the Class 5 District 3 Meet and attempt to qualify for the Class 5 Sectional 2 Meet on May 18 at Lafayette.
During the 1600 meter run in the Suburban Yellow Conference Meet at Lafayette, senior Anna Karner leads the pack. Karner won the race in 5:10.02 in addition to helping the 4 x 400 relay team to a third place finish.
