During the LHS Theater Show-down, freshman Faith Cole wrestles a Seckman wrestler. The Lady Lancers defeated the Jaguars 39-24.

Boys Basketball: The boys basketball team defeated Parkway West on Dec. 13 with a final score of 67-44. In the victory, junior Ryan Campbell had 20 points while senior Trey Griffey contributed 16 points. On Dec. 11, they were defeated 70-51 by Francis Howell. The Lancers will play at Eureka at 7 p.m. on Dec 21.

Boys Wrestling: On Dec. 12 the Lancers were beaten by Seckman in a close 28-25 battle in the theater. Although the team lost, Austin Wegener, senior, won his 100th career match. The team then had a quick turnaround for their next dual meet on Dec. 13. They beat Whitfield 45-24, a top ranked school, and also beat Vandalia 45-24. Their next meet is Dec. 28-29 in Granite City, Illinois for the Granite City Holiday Tournament.

Girls Basketball: The girls basketball team defeated Parkway West on Dec. 11 32-29. They also beat Parkway Central 48-36 on Dec. 13. Their record is now 3-4. On Dec. 22 the team will play Fort Zumwalt North at the MICDS Holiday Tournament.

Girls Swimming: The girls swim team defeated Lindbergh 119-67 on Dec. 11 winning 8 out of 12 events, and on Dec. 13, the Lady Lancers defeated Liberty 129-54 improving to 4-0 on the season.

Girls Wrestling: On Dec. 12, the Lady Lancers defeated Seckman 39-24 during the LHS Theater Throw-down. The team’s next competition is on Dec. 21 at Mehlville where the girls will compete in the Mehlville Girls Tournament.
