Students compete in HOSA State Leadership Conference
On April 26-27, Lafayette students traveled to Rolla to compete in the annual HOSA State Leadership Conference.
Out of the 57 students that participated, 13 students became State finalists. These students are:
- Clara Tarpey: 1st place in Veterinarian Science
- Malayka Walton: 2nd place in Medical Termanology
- Audrey Krone, Dylan Kutun, Grace Rook and Katie Tremper: 3rd place in Public Service Announcement
- Sadhana Matheswaran and Sara Parikh: 1st place in Healthcare Display
- Jonathan Ebenezer: 2nd place in Epidemiology
- Sanjana Kumar: 3rd place in Epidemiology
- Gehrig Prozorowski: 3rd place in Pathophysiology
- Aimee Yang: 1st place in Transcultural Healthcare
- Prathi Pitchiyaiah: 2nd place in Medical Math
These students will now get the chance to go to Dallas, TX to compete in HOSA 41st Annual National Leadership Conference.
Additionally, students who placed in the top five are:
- Emma Kramer: Dental Terminology
- Nick Dygert: Dental Science
- Calia Gammill: Epidemiology
- Abbas Khan, Atul Srinivasan, Kevin Qi and Sanath Srinivasan: HOSA Bowl
