Renaissance will be handing out academic credit cards for students who qualified for a bronze, sliver, or gold Renaissance membership.

These credit cards aren’t the plastic kind, but are a little sticker that goes on the back of the 2015-2016 Lafayette school ID. The credit cards give students discounts at local businesses in the west county area.

“It’s a good way to congratulate and reward kids for doing the right thing and doing well academically, so it gives you some tangible proof based on that first semester,” Said Tim Jones, Renaissance sponsor.

The academic credit cards will be handed out in the Commons on  March 4 during all three lunches.
