A strong start where the Lancers scored 21 points in the first quarter compared to zero by the Stars would ultimately lead to a Lancers victory. In the rest of the game the Lancers scored 28 more points while holding the Stars 20 points good for a 49-20 Lancer victory.

For their first game off the playoffs the Lancers take on the Northwest Cedar Hill Lions who sit at 2-7 on the year. The Northwest Cedar Hill Lions have not played too well thus far as team passing for only four touchdowns, compared to 15 for the Lancers, and have only produced one defensive turnover, compared to 20 by the Lancers.

Last year the Lancers were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs against the Kirkwood Pioneers, and once again if the Lancers and Pioneers win in round one then they will face up for a round two rematch.

Lafayette’s game will be on October 23rd at home.
