Lancers prepare for revenge at Hazelwood Central

The Lafayette Lancers boys basketball team will travel to Hazelwood Central on Feb. 24 for a rematch against the Hawks. The last time the two teams faced was in the championship of the Ameritime tournament at Missouri Baptist University, where Hawks defeated the Lancers in a battle, 49-45.
The Lancers won their last game against Francis Howell Central on Feb. 18, with a final score of 58-39. That moved their record to an impressive 21-2 on the season.
Seniors Reese Park and Brian Boyd think that the Lancers are prepared for the Hawks.
“We pretty much know what their gameplan is,” said Boyd.
“I think we got a good chance,” said Park. “We just really need to focus on executing our stuff and be prepared to play.”
Tip off begins at 7 p.m.
