Lafayette boys soccer (3-0-1) continue their hot streak with a 1-0 win over Notre Dame.

Colton Boone scored the game’s only goal midway through the first half of Tuesday, September 1. From then on, the game was a stalemate with no other promising goals being tapped in for either team.

For the next game against Seckman on Tuesday Sept. 8, Defender Jack Mazza stated his predictions on the outcomes.

When asked for who to watch for next game, Mazza says, “Colton is usually a problem for most teams because of his speed,” he went on to say, “we are all good, and nobody stands so far out from everyone else.”

Mazza predicted a score of 1-0. He commented, “That’s a normal score line for us, but the key is not having any defensive breakdowns or causing fast breaks off bad free kicks.”

Seckman, currently 2-0, is also off to a good start, making this game quite the match to look forward to.
