Girls lacrosse rides by O’Fallon; remains undefeated
April 2, 2015
It seems like nobody wants to challenge the Lady Lancers.
After a successful run at the Kansas City Tournament in…Kansas City, as well as a solid 7-5 victory against the O’Fallon Panthers, the varsity girls lacrosse currently stands high at a 4-0 record.
This outstanding streak can be attributed to the sheer dominance put up on all sides of the ball by the squad.
“The 4-0 start isn’t due to the quality of the teams we’ve faced; it’s more so the skill level of our team.” sophomore Paige Miller said.
The success is also due in part to the increased camaraderie of the squad in the last week.
“During the KC tournament, the team bonded really well in a short amount of time. I was surprised” Miller said.
The next challenge the Lady Lancers have to face is a road match against the Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) on Thursday, April 2 at 4:15 pm.
“This is going to be the hardest match we’ve had all year, but I think we can get away with a win.” Miller said.
