13 students commit to play sports at universities

The following 13 students signed letters of intent on Nov. 11 to play their respective sports at the college level next fall.
These students include: Amanda Beaton, University of Central Arkansas for volleyball; Taryn Griffey, University of North Florida for volleyball; Alec Haines, Oklahoma State University for cross country; Mindy Hennrich, Columbia College for golf; Maria Johnson, Lindenwood University for lacrosse; Jenny Kohl, Northern Iowa University for softball; Alayna Martin, Southern Illinois University for volleyball; Maggie McDaniel, Chestnut Hill College for lacrosse; Devin Meyrer, Baylor University for cross country; MacKenzie Myers, Westminster Unviersity for softball; Sarah Nicholson, Northwestern University for cross country; Dylan Quisenberry, University Missouri- Columbia for cross country; and Anna West, Baylor University for cross country/track and field.
University of North Florida commit Griffey said, “I am looking forward to the signing ceremony. I watched my brother do it. I watched my sister do it. Now that I get to do it, I am super excited. I also get to be next to some friends who I have been playing with for the last ten years which makes it even better.”
