Services set for senior Sean Glanvill
November 14, 2014
Lafayette senior Sean Glanvill passed away Monday, Nov. 10 from an intestinal infection. Glanvill spent the past five years at Lafayette in the Special School District program.
In 2008 when he was in middle school, Glanvill was involved in a serious car accident where he suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was given a one percent chance of survival, but after over a year in the hospital was able to come home, though he had life-altering injuries. He worked hard with doctors, nurses, therapists and teachers to battle the injuries he suffered from the accident.
Glanvill is survived by his mother and father, Penelope and Derek Glanvill, and his sister Kirsten Glanvill, a 2009 Lafayette graduate.
Services will be held on Nov. 17 at the Crossing (see address below). Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the funeral service will be from 2-3 p.m. and the event will end with a reception from 3-5 p.m.
