Final Exemption forms due Dec. 11

Patrick Levine, Reporter

It’s that time of year again. Students are cramming for their  last tests, scrambling to turn in missing work and begging teachers to round borderline grades. And, all of it is being done to ensure an A and a possible exam exemption.

Class offices are currently handing out exemption forms for eligible students.

Freshmen cannot exempt any finals first semester but sophomores, juniors and seniors can exempt one final if they meet the requirements. To be eligible for exemption students must have an “A” grade (unweighted) in the class they wish to exempt and their teacher must sign their exemption form.

However, Advanced Placement (AP) classes cannot be exempted first semester.

Exemption forms can be picked up in any grade-level office and must be turned in by Thursday, Dec. 11 no later than 4 p.m.
