Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”

Lancers looks to stomp the Stangs’ for sixth straight win

Lancers looks to stomp the Stangs for sixth straight win

For players and fans, one of the most anticipated games of the season is here. Hoping to defeat the Mustangs Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m on Marquette’s home floor, the Lancers who hold five consecutive wins are looking to keep the streak alive.

After defeating Parkway South on Feb. 5 with a final score of 48-25, now second in Conference standings, the Lancers are on a roll and are a threat to be reckoned with.

With Marquette ranked third, right behind LHS, they’re craving a win, not to mention bragging rights.

Last year after defeating the Mustangs in their Jan. 13 regular season game, the Lancers fell short 38-36 on Feb. 24 at Parkway South High School in the  District Championship.

For the Lancers to be on their “A Game” tomorrow night they will have to hold a tight defense in hopes of stopping Marquette’s lead scorer Matt Hink, averaging 14.9 points per game, and junior Brooks Gerrity, 12.8 points per game.

Make sure to get your tickets at lunch or the Activities Office and show your support by participating in the Blackout theme at Marquette.
