Social Studies teacher Steve Klawiter will have his AP World History class take the digital exam this May. He said he looks forward to seeing how his students will perform on the exam. “Its been very clear theyre moving towards digital. Since the pandemic started, theyve been putting the pieces in place to go digital, Klawiter said. “I think that ultimately it’s going to be more beneficial because with systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, students are used to more digital activities and less handwriting activities.”
Nine AP exams will transition to digital format in 2025, additional six in 2026

Lancers dominate Howell; look to continue success against Oakville

Our Lancer basketball squad will seek to extend their 3 game winning streak when they match up against the Oakville Tigers Friday at 7 p.m. The game will be fought on the Tiger’s home floor.

With a 9-10 record now, the Lancers look to win this conference matchup against 8-6 Oakville to improve their slot in the standings. They will have to watch out for Oakville’s 6’10” center Austin Gilmann (12.4 ppg, 9.2 rpg) and junior Ervin Sarajlic, who is  averaging nearly 17 points per game, leading the team.

The Lancers need to continue playing the same way they did against Francis Howell last night.  Senior Shacquille Holley led the charge with 12 points. Fellow senior Jake Steinberg knocked down all of his shots for a total of ten points to contribute to Holley’s offensive barrage as well. The game was very physical, and the Lancers had one of their most dominant first halves this whole season.

The Lancers claimed the victory 60-38 and are especially excited to be just one win away from a .500 record.
