Starting off strong, the Lancers dominated the first three quarters of play against Parkway West however, they had significant trouble closing out the game once again.
They went into the fourth quarter up by 10 points, but ended up blowing the lead and losing 44-41.
West’s center, Cash McCurdy went off in the fourth quarter and finished with a game high 21 points. Their leading scorer, junior Jake Socha, knocked down two big three pointers and helped clinch the game for the Longhorns.
Trying to snap their two game losing streak, the Lancers will take the court against Mehlville this Friday. The game begins at 7 p.m. on the Lancer’s home floor.
