If any students have ever wanted to see their favorite teacher dancing to the popular song Gangnam Style, they have the chance to make it happen and see them do it at the Winter Pep Assembly.
Throughout the week of Dec. 10-14, students can donate money to certain teachers to see them dance the iconic dance created by Korean singer PSY.
Boxes with teachers’ names will be placed out for students to drop monetary donations. It can be any amount of money, from coins to cash. The teacher that earns the most amount of money will dance at the assembly set for Jan. 11.
All the money donated will be given to the victims of the Super Storm Sandy, which devastated the East Coast several weeks ago.
The teachers nominated include social studies teachers Scott Allen and Jodie Shead, business teacher Scott Beaver, language arts teachers Cheryl Hermach and Jean Peters, science teachers Jennifer Keillor, Chris Lofgren and Joe Wier, P.E. teachers Ashley Lewis and Rick Voss and library media specialist Carolyn Witt.
