Every year Lafayette boys compete for the prestigious title of Mr. LHS.
This year’s contestants are Sean Alexander, Jared Applebaum, David Aslin, Jared Brinkmeyer, Caleb Cavarretta, Charlie Frail, Kyle Glennon, Blake Hoover, Aleks Husic, Cameron Kennedy, Jacob Monash, Justin Nauman, Ben Perez, Aaron Platts, Spencer Rolfe, Tyler Romero, Tommy Rudd, Nate Russell and Thomas Swoboda.
Science teacher and Junior Class sponsor Todd Decker is in charge of the event and expects a big turnout.
“Usually around 300 people attend each year,” Decker said.
Contestants will compete in various events in front of a panel of judges who will decide their fate. Mr. LHS is March 3, and will take place in the Theatre at 7 p.m.
