LHS splits up the grades to level out the amount of trash being thrown away at one time.

“We are scheduled to have the dumpsters emptied at night and once during the day to keep the trash at a manageable amount,” Principal John Shaughnessy said.

“Plus, we try to maintain some order during this process so as to not disrupt the whole school,” Shaughnessy added.

Community Service will have bins sets out for students with lightly used school supplies such as pens, pencils, folders, binders and more. All supplies will go to local organization who gives these types of supplies to students in need.
