The Lady Lancer swim and dive team made history Feb. 12. With a score of 541.5 points, the team clinched its 25th straight Conference Title.
The Conference Meet was held at Lindbergh High School Feb 11-12. Lafayette dominated the pool this year, winning every meet. Individuals who succeeded at the Conference Meet were Samantha Wright in the 200-yard medley with a time of 2:10.17 and in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.57, Shannon McCoy in the 50 freestyle with a 24.50 and Ashleigh Grammar in the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.27.
The Lancers also won all three of their relays with times of 3:41.18 in the 400 freestyle, 1:51.52 in the 200 medley and 1:42.85 in the 200 freestyle. Their next step will be to try for State, which will be held at the St. Peters Rec Plex on Feb. 19 -20.
