After an entire season of Lancer victories, the swim season culminated in a first place win at Conference on Nov. 3-4.
The team won the meet with a total of 499 points, 68 points ahead of their closest competitor, Marquette.
The meet held not only team, but individual victories as the team added four new State cuts and one CSRVIII Sectional cut.
The new State cuts were senior Jacob Alspaw in the 500 free, junior Josh Daminato in the 200 free, sophomore Jared Rahe in the 200 IM and senior Patrick Riordan in the 100 BA, with junior Alec Morgan making a C SRVIII Sectional cut.
The 200 medley and 400 free relays delivered yet again, finishing first in both and setting a new pool record in the 400 free.
Lancer divers also did well, finishing all in the top 15. Senior Colman Swisher took first in the event, with senior Charlie Zimmerman placing 7th and juniors Anthony Levy and Michael Porter placing 10th and 15th respectively.
The team now has a total of 12 swimmers and divers going to State at St.Peters RecPlex on Nov. 12 -13.
