An adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel of the same name, "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" released in theaters Nov 17. The movie, a prequel of the “Hunger Games” trilogy, reached streaming Dec 19.

For the digital SAT, junior Michelle Chen studies in the Upper Commons. Beginning March 9, 2024, the SAT will be digital. "Once the exam is over and we get a couple of years of data, we'll really see what the advantages or disadvantages are as far as test scores," Test Coordinator Jessica Brawner said.

Many empty storefronts occupy Chesterfield Mall. That is a cause of the redevelopment. "[In the redevelopment plan,] retail will flank the centralized park to add to the downtown flavor," Petree Powell, Assistant City Planner for the City of Chesterfield, said.

Currently, the Chesterfield Mall is open and owned by The Staenberg Group. Though, with demolition set for 2024, Chesterfield Mall will be replaced with new infrastructure. "People can expect a downtown concept," Petree Powell, Assistant City Planner for the City of Chesterfield, said.

At a Town Hall Meeting Oct. 17 at Lafayette, Director of Finance Dan Steinbruegge explains the upcoming Prop 3 bond issue. Voters will decide on the issue during voting on Nov. 7.

Hunched over her putter, junior Addy Surber reads the putt. Surber won Conference Player of the Year and qualified for State. While she was excited that she won Conference Player of the Year, she wasn't surprised, "I was happy but I was undefeated for all my match, so I kind of expected it."
