Last season’s record: 16-13

Current record: 14-9

Player Intel: “The season’s been going really good, we’re becoming a family and we’re working as a team really well. The game against Eureka is next Tuesday and Districts begin in early October. We hope to win a district championship this year,” junior Addyson Jones said.

“The beginning of the season is always a little rough, especially with a young team like ours, we only have four upperclassmen on varsity, so there is always a bit of a learning curve when it comes to making lineups and that kind of thing. Right now we are really finding our stride even with different injury obstacles,” senior Lillian Ware said.

Coach Intel: “We have shown a lot of growth this season, did well in the Suburban Showdown Tournament by making the championship game and placing second out of 16 teams. Another highlight was winning against Marquette in the annual pink game. We are hoping to finish strong and compete for a district title,” Holtmann said.
