After a solid season last year, the Lafayette boys swimming team is ready to dive into the season. The team’s first meet will start Aug. 25 at Parkway Central around 4:30 p.m. Head Coach Todd Gabel is confident in the team’s ability to perform this season and is looking forward to the first meet.

“The team will succeed because of the leadership the seniors bring to the team this year,” Gabel said. “They are off to a great season, really putting in the work and focused on the season.”

With the team’s solid leadership, young talent and hard work ethic, the Lancers will be ready to come out strong.

“The key for us to have a great season is to keep focusing on putting in the work and have purpose for the season.” Gabel said.
