Mehlville, Parkway Central, Parkway South, Seckman and Northwest have all fallen victim to the Lafayette girls golf team. The Lady Lancers are off a blazing start, knocking out any opponent that stands in their way.

“The Lafayette girls golf team is off to a great start. Five wins, no loses,” Head Coach Katrina Clark said. “Anika Pulumati has had an awesome start, with two medalist at matches and a nice finish in the top 15 with a 77 at the Rockwood Summit High School Invitational (RSHS).”

Pulumati wasn’t the only one to finish high at the RSHS, as Paige San Felippo, Clark’s player to watch this year, finished only three strokes behind Pulumati.

The team will look to continue the trend when they take on Summit on Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m.
