The Lafayette hockey team’s regular season is coming to a close with one game remaining. With a record of 5-14-1, Lafayette will play Lindbergh on Jan. 23 at 9:30 p.m. at Affton Rink.

The Lancers just broke a seven game losing streak with a 5-4 win against Summit High School in their most recent game on Jan. 11.

“We’ve had to overcome some big obstacles and that has gotten us ready for the playoffs,” senior Chase Mulsieri said.

In the post-season, the Lancers will be competing in the Wickenheiser cup.

“We’re hoping to get to the Championship at the Scottrade Center,” Mulsieri said.
